Family Locator uses advanced GPS and cellular network technology to help you track the real-time location of your family members’ phones. With this app, you can always know where your children are and even review their location history to see where they have been.
Using Family Locator is simple—just follow three easy steps:
1. After registering, tap the "+" button and select "Add Child."
2. Click "✓" to generate a unique code.
3. Have your child download the app and register using the code.
With Family Locator, you can also:
- View your child’s location history
- Receive alerts when your child enters or leaves a designated area (GPS must be enabled)
- Set a route to your child’s chosen destination
- Send emergency alerts
- Communicate with your children at no extra cost
- Use the "Find My Phone" feature if your device is lost
The app will notify you when:
- Your child’s phone enters or leaves a designated zone
- Your child’s phone loses internet access
- Location access is unavailable on your child’s device
- The battery level drops below 15%
- Your child exceeds a preset speed limit
- Location accuracy is compromised
- You have unread messages
All these features are available for free. The "Find My Phone" function can be used for every family member added to the app. To locate your child on the map, simply select their name from the list. A satellite map view is also available in the app settings.
Please note: For Family Locator to work properly, location services must be enabled on your phone. If GPS is unavailable, the app will use cellular networks for location tracking, though this may be less accurate.
