In Fast Cards, two players race to discard all their cards as quickly as possible. There are no turns – both play at the same time, making alertness and fast reactions essential. Each player has four face-up cards in hand that can be played on either of the two central spit piles. A card can be placed if it is one rank above or below the top card of a pile (suit doesn’t matter). For example, if there’s an Ace on a pile, you can play a King or a Two.
If neither player can make a move, each reveals the next card from their spit pile to restart the action. When one player runs out of spit cards, the other continues playing on a single pile until the game concludes.
Fast Cards uses the colorful Spanish deck, with the following card order: Ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Jack (Sota), Horse (Caballo), and King (Rey). The game offers various customization options to match your preferred style:
- Game Type: Choose between "Speed" and "Spit" – each with a different layout and stockpile mechanics.
- Mode: Test your skills in "Challenge" mode or push your limits in "Survival" mode where the bot gets faster each level.
- Bot Speed: Adjust the AI’s speed from "Snail" to "Lightning".
- AI Difficulty: Play against an "Average" bot that makes simple moves, or a "Good" one that strategizes based on your cards.
- Sound: Toggle sound effects on or off for a personalized experience.
