Schulte Table

The Schulte Table was originally developed by German psychiatrist and psychotherapist Walter Schulte (1910–1972) as a psycho-diagnostic tool to study attention properties. From 1962 to 1972, Professor Schulte worked in Tübingen, focusing on psychopathology and psychotherapy research. Initially used in engineering psychology, this method has been applied to assess the efficiency and speed of visual search movements. Today, the Schulte Table is widely recognized not only for diagnostic purposes but also as an effective tool for enhancing speed reading, improving peripheral vision, and boosting concentration. It is commonly used in cognitive training, helping individuals develop faster information processing and better focus.
