Guard Tour Management App
This application is designed for security companies seeking a modern and efficient approach to managing guard patrols. By leveraging NFC technology, it ensures that guard tours are conducted reliably and reported in real time. Each patrol checkpoint is equipped with an NFC tag, which security guards scan using their smartphones. This automatically records the date, time, and location of each visit, providing verifiable data for oversight and accountability.
Key Features
Setup: Administrators can remotely assign specific details to each NFC tag at various checkpoints along patrol routes. Information includes checkpoint NFC tag number, name, address, GPS coordinates, and the timestamp of initial registration.
Standard Patrol Operations: During patrols, guards scan NFC tags installed at designated points. The app automatically reports each scan in real time to the security center, capturing checkpoint details, GPS coordinates at the time of scanning, and timestamps.
Incident Reports: In case of irregularities or events, guards can create detailed incident reports. These reports include checkpoint name and address, reason for the report, incident details, police officer information, up to five photos for documentation, timestamps, and the guard’s signature. Reports can be submitted to police or other involved parties as needed.
Data Management: All user data is continuously synchronized with ginstr cloud. This data can be analyzed, processed, sorted, filtered, exported, and shared with other departments such as accounting or dispatching through ginstr web, a web-based platform compatible with all ginstr apps.
Benefits:
The app enhances the efficiency and reliability of guard patrols, simplifies scheduling, and immediately highlights any tasks not performed as scheduled. It enables quick responses to unexpected events, securely stores all necessary data for police reports, provides proof of completed patrols to clients, assists with payroll data collection, and facilitates the integration of new guards into the system.
The app is free to download; however, a ginstr subscription is required to use it in conjunction with ginstr cloud services.
