Toyota Shipping Confirmation System (TSCS) is designed to enhance two key areas within the supply chain:
1. Supplier Packing: It enables the identification of contents for each skid as orders are fulfilled, establishing a box-to-skid linkage.
2. Supplier Shipping: It allows scanning each skid onto a Toyota truck at the supplier location.
To support these processes, Toyota provides three platforms for suppliers to capture and communicate skid and shipment data. One of these is the Toyota Shipping Confirmation Mobile app, which can be used on any iOS or Android device with mobile data connectivity. This app is particularly useful for suppliers without existing scanning processes on their shipping docks and is available for use by any supplier.
