Brakar AS makes purchasing your tickets as simple as 1-2-3. With the Brakar mobile app, you can buy your ticket before boarding. The app is valid throughout Buskerud and also covers stops along Brakar's bus routes between Buskerud and Oslo.
To provide a seamless experience, the Brakar Billett app requests permission to access certain functions on your device:
• Read phone status and identity: This helps protect your ticket from fraud by linking it to your phone's unique identifier. Please note that the app cannot make phone calls.
• Access precise location (GPS and network-based): This allows the app to suggest tickets based on your current zone. If you prefer not to share your location, you can manually enter your departure stop or station.
• Receive data from the internet: This is necessary for communication with Brakar's ticketing system when purchasing and downloading tickets.
• View network connections: This ensures you receive prompt error notifications in case of network issues, preventing unnecessary waiting times.
• Run at startup / Autostart: This enables the app to send notifications when your tickets or payment cards are about to expire.
• Prevent phone from sleeping: This safeguards communication between your device and Brakar’s ticketing system.
• Control vibration function: This allows the app to use vibration for notifications.
• Read synchronization settings: This ensures period tickets are automatically updated with a control code and daily image.
• Use fingerprint hardware: This offers an alternative to using a password for authentication.
• Read your contacts: This is used when sending tickets to phone numbers stored in your contact list.
• Control near field communication (NFC): This is used to read the content of a travel card.
If you wish to restrict any of these permissions, you can adjust them via the "Settings" page on your phone.
