Audio Spectrum Monitor is an app that shows the real-time frequency spectrum of sounds picked up by your Android phone's microphone. The horizontal axis represents the musical scale, and you can adjust the display by dragging sideways or zooming in/out using pinch gestures.
Features:
• Real-time display of audio input spectrum.
• Horizontal axis labeled with musical notes.
• Covers 7 octaves from C1 to B7.
• Supports horizontal screen rotation.
• Detects and displays fundamental frequency (pitch).
• Compatible with drag and pinch-to-zoom actions.
• Includes a tuner feature.
• Allows recording and playback with save/load functionality.
How to Use:
Simply capture sound through your phone's microphone, and the spectrum will update in real time. The display adjusts automatically when you rotate your device horizontally.
Pitch Detection:
When a pitch is detected, a blue vertical line appears at the corresponding note on the scale. The frequency (in Hz) and note name are shown at the top of the screen. Note: The app may not accurately analyze harmonies or multiple instruments playing simultaneously.
Recording and Playback:
You can record audio for up to 3 minutes. Recorded files can be saved, loaded, and played back within the app.
